The gate structure is built using reinforced mild steel posts measuring 60 × 60 mm. Combined with heavy-duty hinges and a slide latch or v-mesh latch, this construction ensures that the gate remains stable and properly aligned even with frequent opening and closing, making it suitable for busy sites with vehicle traffic.

Installation is designed to be practical and flexible. Instead of permanent ground fixing, the Vehicle Gate - Defender™ can be stabilised using BraceBlok™ or concrete ballast blocks from 275 kg. This ballast system provides more stability and wind resistance. The anti-climb protection is for avoiding the need to drill or anchor into asphalt or concrete surfaces.

The gate integrates seamlessly with Defender™ mesh fencing panels, allowing it to form part of a continuous perimeter security system. This ensures there are no weak points between the gate and the surrounding fencing, maintaining a consistent level of secure vehicle access around the entire site. For larger projects, double-leaf mesh gates or 5m wide site gates can be supplied.
